The psychiatric acute admissions are usually open every day around the clock - you can just show up.

It's a good idea to call ahead and notify them of your arrival.

There is also the option of phone counseling - for patients and relatives.

You can contact the Lifeline telephone counseling service at +45 70 201 201 everyday between 11 am and 17. You can write or chat with Lifeline advisors Mondays and Thursdays between 17 and 21 and Saturdays and Sundays between 13 and 17.

You can contact the Psychiatric Foundation. They offer anonymous counseling for mental difficulties. Phone number: +45 39 25 25 25. There is also an option for Chat counseling | Psychiatric Foundation.

Children and adolescents can anonymously write or call the Children's Helpline at +45 11 61 11.
