The psychiatric acute admissions are usually open every day around the clock - you can just show up.

It's important to contact the appropriate department, as they are divided according to the municipality you reside in.

There is also the option of phone counseling - for patients and relatives.

  • If your own doctor or 1813 assesses that there is a need for urgent psychiatric help, they will refer you to the Emergency Department at Bornholms Hospital.
  • This applies to children, adolescents, and adults.
