Excessive Hygiene

It is common that women end up in a vicious circle because of habits of misunderstood hygienic advice. Some women experience their discharge as disgusting and unhygienic and therefore industriously wash themselves ‘downstairs’ with water and soap. However, the use of soap dehydrates the sensitive mucous membranes around the vagina and the vagina therefore reacts by producing more secrete. So, the more the woman washes herself – the more secrete and discharge is there.

Frequent wash ‘downstairs’ with strong soaps can disturb the right balance in the vagina so that the good lactic bacteria are flushed out and is reduced or disappears entirely. When this happens, foreign and harmful bacteria can enter the vagina and lead to troublesome discharge.
