Treatment of Pain

It is always of relevance to locate the cause – whenever it is possible – for the pain and thereafter direct the treatment towards the cause. If the pain e.g. is caused by migraine, the treatment should be medication that prevents migraine and not just painkilling medication. If the back pain is caused by weak back muscles and abs, the treatment should be training the muscles possibly in combination with painkilling medication.

In other cases, the cause of the pain cannot be removed (osteoarthritis, cancer, diabetes) or you are unable to find the cause (back pain, headache). In those cases, there is nothing else to do but to treat the pain. Pain can be treated with different remedies but there are also other possibilities like for example acupuncture, relaxation, physiotherapy.
